This is another good article which helps to capture the kind of anti-God culture that was cultivated in the International churches of christ. Not that I just want to pick on them. I think that every group that tries to follow Christ but at the same time missing the focus on His Grace and letting God make the decisions, is missing the mark. If you read some of my other articles on my blog you may get what I mean by this.

Actually in a few ways this apeared cleaner than what I ran into in the Philippines. This picture didn’t capture the dirt and the smell; the polution, that was all around us.

However the visual poverty isn’t that bad when taken with the spiritual wealth that was so common there. The love, the giving, even among many of the poor was great. I’ll take the poverty in exchange for the love any day. God is in the latter.

Oh, and just to prove it I ended up writng again today instead of going out and letting the force lead me. But that’s ok I suppose. However I should have simply and obediently walked right out the door this morning instead of allowng myslf to be distacted.

What did I do instead? Well, in addition to writing, I also washed dishes, cooked breakfast and ate. Then I took a shower and got back to writing. … Take Care all!
